In Divorces Nasty Equals Expensive – Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Could Spend Millions

The nastier a divorce becomes, the more expensive it becomes. We’re getting an up close and personal view of that with the Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Divorce Royale. They’ve each hired the most expensive lawyers in town, and have seemingly opened their wallets to spare no expenses.

Angie wants to sole legal and sole physical custody of the couple’s six children and has asked for Child Custody Evaluations – at an easy $250,000 a piece that could be $1,500,000 right there. Brad is sure to want to spend an equal amount, or more, to protect his rights as a father, so that could be another $1,500,000.

Their lawyers are each in the over $700 an hour range, and they have multiple lawyers. So it’s going to cost them a pretty penny, not that they don’t have it, as one of the richest couples in Hollywood there are essentially unlimited funds to fight.

HollywoodLife.com asked me about this, and I told them:

… this could cost the battling couple up to $250,000.00 or more [for therapists],” adding, that “they will have a team of psychiatrists and therapists that will want to talk to and run tests on the children.” Not to mention, “The experts will also want to interview Brad, Angelina, nannies, parents, friends, family, and all of the kids. These experts are very expensiveand this will turn into a long, expensive, nasty, public divorce.”
